Hello I would like to say hello to everyone and that I am doing just fine today. Reguardless I am really enjoying my job at the mckays food and drug store. I went to the Ocean City,Maryland MSFA convention center and saw susan grote and butch I ment to say hello but they both were talking to others at the two different times I happen to run into them both and did not want to be rude and interupt them while they were doing so. Also it was so very nice to talk to bobby simpson at work today and see how things happen to be going with him. I also like your new ambulances and really hope you guys recieved awards for their apperance at the MSFA paraide back in june they looked very clean and detailed as well. Take Care.

Just wanted to send a quick note to say thanks to all of you at CO. 51 for the beautiful flowers and well wishes I recieved following my surgery. Although I am a new member of "the 51 family" all of you have in one way or another helped me through a very difficult time. I look forward to my future and training with CO. 51 and feel honored to dedicate my time and efforts to our community. You are truly an amazing group of individuals and I am proud to be a part of your team.

Folks -
I cannot belive how fast the past two weeks have been. I want to say Thank You, for all of the love and support you have given to our family. Everyone helped out so much, and was right there for us. By your help, it took a lot of pressure off of the family. My brother Chuck, and I really appreciate you all for keeping a watchful eye out for mom. She really enjoys seeing everyone walking across the street to check on her.
I miss Susie so much.
Thank you again for everything.

Many of us know that Susie was the baby of her family, a daddy's girl and had to have keys to everything. What many may not realize she had a big heart. Her tough exterior masked her soft interior that she did not want anyone to know about. When she would call you her friend, she would be opening her heart to you. So, what took me a long time to realize that when I would get the silent treatment and be on the "Hit List", which Susie's true friends have been ther atleast a time or two, it didn't necessarily mean that she was mad, but more hurt. But what didn't take me long to figure out was that when my cell phone would ring and it said "Mama Juggs" I knew I was off the list and it was somebody else's turn.
I knew I was in good with Susie when she started inviting me over every so often to her parents house for dinner or just to sit and talk. Then every so often turned into dinner once a week with her Uncle Paul being my date. So Susie, Charlie, Ms. Irene, Uncle Paul and I would sit around the table, they would tell me stories about my grandparents and we would enjoy each others company.
Some of my favorite memories of Susie were our trips to meetings where we would drink 6 pack on the way, go to the meeting, leave early and hit the local bar. And when she would stop by the squad with her dog, Katie, both with their "Diet Cokes". And as she would drive off she would pull her shirt down as if you were going to get a peak at the "MaMa Juggs". I also loved how Kevin Grinder would call communications the 4-1-1 center and not the 9-1-1 center when Butch Frazier and Susie would work together. He said they would start talking about one thing, finish the second thing and by the time they were on #3, he was trying to figure out what happened in the first story. (But it didn't take Grinder long to pick up their skills)
I know we all have our Susie stories, whether it was helping her with a practical joke, going on road trips, out to dinner, explaining to everyone why it was your turn on the "Hit List" or laugh at how many times she flipped you the bird as she passed you on the road. I'm sure we will keep those stories fresh in our minds, so we can keep her memory alive.
Susie, your imprint at CCRS will never be erased. Thank you for your years of dedication, loyalty and service to Company 51. We have very big shoes to fill (and bras too).
I just wanted to thank each and every one of you on an excellent job well done yesterday and the day before for Susie's arrangements. Everything to me was perfect and ran so nicely. I know you guys were so stressed out, but it paid off! God knows she sure has been letting us all know of her presence! HAHA, anyways, thanks again for a job well done! You guys are the best!

I have many pleasant memories of "Susie", since she was a little girl. She was as dedicated to CCRS as any one I know, and we served together for many years. You folks have a very honorable profession to uphold. You have lost a very valuable member, keep up the good work in her memory!

Susie you will be remembered and leave behind such a legacy. My thoughts and prayers to her friends and family I also remember the old days! 829-830-831. All volunteer county EMS and our low band 911 system! Seems like yesterday. Winston running from the flower shop to drive, Was it Dave J that gave Susie her nickname? Seems like yesterday. I think that those memories and all that Susie created will be remembered and keep all of us going. May she have found that great ambulance in the sky.

Dear Members,
I am sorry for your loss. Susie is unique to say the least. She was a loving daughter and sister, and one of Charles Counties Best. Susie was my cousin who spent time with my children when they were small. She would later help three of them in the fire/rescue field. Along with me I know they miss her and are saddened by her passing. It was always reassuring to hear her whenever I called for 911. Again my heart felt condolences to you and her family. She was top-notch in her field.

My condolences to you all. I know first hand what a great person Susie was, you see, she is the reason I am a 911 dispatcher in Western Kansas. I grew up next door to her in LaPlata and listened to her on the scanner as a child and always thought, "one day I want to be just like Susie! Now, 30 years later, I am the head of Communications for my county, all because of her influence. She will be greatly missed!

We just wanted to say that we are all deeply sadened for the loss of susie.. she will be missed by so many. Things will defiently not be the same anymore around communications.... May you rest in peace SusieQ :) we will miss you very very much-
God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not meant to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you go, Although we love you deeply, we could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us - HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
