On Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 1003 EMS Station 51 was alerted for a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Crain Highway & Turkey Hill Rd. Ambulance 517 responded with EMT-B, C. Friedrichsen (Driver), and EMT-B, A. Hudler (OIC). The crew arrived to find a 2 vehicle motor vehicle collision.
The responding Fire units from LaPlata Co. 1 and Ambulance 109 had begun patient assessment prior to A517's arrival. Ambulance 517's crew assumed care of one of the vehicles occupant. Ambulance 517 & Ambulance 109 transported the patients to Civista Medical Center, with non-life threating injuries.
