Robert Ansell - EMS Chief
Chief Robert Ansell joined the Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad in 2010. Chief Ansell has held the operational positions of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Assistant Chief. Chief Ansell is serving his third term as EMS Chief.
Chief Ansell has served on numerous committees, including as a delegate to the EMS Executive Committee, Southern Maryland Volunteer Fireman’s Association, and chairman of the Apparatus Committee. Chief Ansell resides in the Town of La Plata and works for a local government agency.

Jeff Garner - President
President Jeff Garner joined the Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad in 1998. President Garner has held numerous positions throughout his tenure, including Lieutenant, Vice President, and President.
President Garner resides in, and works full time for the Town of La Plata as the Director of Public Works. His family, Sharon (wife) and Brandon (son), are also very proud members of Station 51.
